Day 1

There will be fast food and comfort stops as needed today on our way to Jamestown, NY. Kick off this tour with a stop at the interactive National Comedy Center. This top ABA attraction for comedy fans features an impressive collection of the many styles and genres of comedy. After checking into the hotel, be treated to a dinner picnic at the Pavillion, just walking distance from hetel and right on the water. The cookout will consist of hot dogs, burgers, pasta salad, chips and dessert. A local band will also be playing, offering the opportunity to get up and dance! Stick around to watch the sunset!

Day 2

In the morning, enjoy a hot breakfast at the hotel, then spend the day learning about the life of Lucille Ball and see Jamestown the way she would have, from the house she grew up in to her burial site on the Lucy Town Tour. Visit the Lucy Desi Museum and Studios, diving even further into their personal and professional lives with original props, scripts, customs and much more from the beloved TV show "I Love Lucy!" Eat lunch in Ricky's Tropicana Room at the museum, designed to look just like Ricky's Iconic nightclub from the show. While enjoying the buffet-style meal, enjoy your favorite episodes up on the big screen! Take advantage of free time in the afternoon to explore on your own in Bemus Point or take a nap at the hotel. Sit down together for an Italian Lasagna dinner at the Maple Springs Lake Side Inn, a property that was built in the 1920's by Henry Arott. This Pittsburgh Industrialist invented the process of coloring ceramic tile. Look for examples of his work throughout the Dutch Colonial Mansion.

Day 3

After a hot breakfast at the hotel, visit the Robert H. Jackson Center. Dedicated to preservaing his legacy, the center features exhibits, programs and events that explore his life and work. Afterwards, head to the Roger Tory Peterson Institute to view Peterson's iconic work including bird illustrations and other wildlife artwork in the form of paintings, sculptures and photographs. Bring this tour to a close by boarding the Chautauqua Belle Steam Boat to have a late summer bbq lunch! This is one of four steamboats left in the country. Lunch includes chicken, two sides, dinner roll, and blueberry cheesecake for dessert. After enjoying the afternoon breeze, the beautiful scenery on the lake and a delicious meal, load back on the bus and head for home. There will be comfort and meal stops on the return home.
