Tour highlights include “Ice” at the Gaylord and a spin for breathtaking photos from the Capitol Wheel, the US Botanic Gardens and the National Portrait Gallery. Also we’ll explore an assortment of DC’s treasures, such as Embassy Row, the National Cathedral, the Hillwood Estate, the National Christmas Tree, and more! A driving tour of the monuments illuminated at night and tour of Mount Vernon wrap this tour up. All of DC and the area will be decked out for the holidays!

Day 1
Treat yourself to a spectacular holiday trip at the Gaylord National Harbor, acting as a hub of activity including an outlet mall, casino and many waterfront activities. Check into the hotel around 3:30 and then enjoy free time to explore and eat dinner on your own for the duration of the evening. Receive a complimentary cocktail voucher and ride on the Captial Wheel, to enjoy during stay. Be awe-struck by nightly indoor snowfall and a Sights and Sounds of the Season show presented by the Gaylord.
Day 2
Start the day with a complimentary breakfast at the hotel, then visit the United States Botanic Gardens to see the annual Poinsettias Display. Eat lunch on your own during free time to wander and shop the downtown DC Christmas Market in Penn Quarter. Pay a visit to the National Portrait Gallery to see the exhibit:"American Presidents". Drive down Embassy Row and by the Washington National Cathedral, then make a stop to discover the Kennedy Center for the Performning Arts. After sitting down to dinner at Tony & Joe's Seafood Place at Washington Harbor, make a stop at the Pathway to Peace to see the National Christmas Tree then depart for a driving tour to see the illuminated monuments of DC! Monuments include: Marine Corps Memorial (Iwo Jima Statue), Air Force Memorial, Washington Monument, National World War II Memorial, and more as time permits. Return to the hotel for the remainder of the evening.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast at the Gaylord, watch "Ice" as well as more free time to explore before checking out of the hotel. After departure, make a stop at George Washington's Mount Vernon to tour the mansion all decked out for Christmas! Listen to stories of Christmases past from costumed characters, watch 18th-century demonstrations, explore Colonial and American traditions for the home, shop unique gifts and grab lunch on your own. Deprt for home around 3pm.

Visit ICE while located in the hotel. Tour the National monuments, shop at the DC Christmas Market and National Portrait Gallery. Drive by the Washington National Cathedral. Discover Christmas at the Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens. Stop at the Pathway to Peace to see the National Christmas Tree and drive by the illuminated monuments. Also take time to stay in the hotel for the ICE! Show!
